Meet The Judges
We are always grateful for the time and care our judges take.
Please have a look at their bios and visit their websites for more inspiration and incredible photography knowledge.
Yosef Adest
Yosef runs an online photography community called 52Frames which unites both amateur and professional photographers from all over the world, centered around the simple concept of a weekly photo challenge.
He also curates online and offline photo exhibitions and is constantly side-tracked by his “actual job” of video production, which focuses on small-business promotional content.
Yosef believes that creativity is the water that allows all things to grow, and would love nothing more than for everyone to grab a bucket.
Ron Clifford
Ron is not only a gifted photographer, he is also an encourager, a mentor, and an educator. He built a career by using his camera as a tool that connects him to his world. As a result of his commitment to creating powerful imagery and building strong communities, he has had his work featured around the world including by Google and National Geographic online. Ron has become well known for his involvement in online and in-person mentoring in photography, life, and business. Along with teaching photography, Ron is also a photography guide on unique expeditions and photography symposiums to some of the most remote places on earth.
In Ron’s own words:
“I’m a visual storyteller. I always say, ‘Do what you can’t help but do’ and for me, that is to capture the beauty and character in the people I meet and the places I travel and to help others to do the same. I have the best job in the world”.

Elizabeth Hahn
Elizabeth runs the behind the scenes things – website, photo uploads and signups and has been part of the Hunt off and on since Round 2. She moved us off of G+ when it was shut down, and has been around since.
Landscape/Nature/Abstract photography are her passions. And cows. Moo.
Yvette van Teeffelen
Yvette van Teeffelen is invited to judge as the winner of Round 32
Born and raised in The Netherlands, Yvette has lived in Northern Ireland, Canada and Nebraska. In 2015 she moved to Wichita, Kansas where she works as a photographer specializing in portraiture. She adores photographing children, their innocence and joy over the smallest things, and to capture their personalities.
Yvette has been participating in the Scavenger Hunt since 2014 and loves challenging herself creatively each round.
